About Me

Leah Harwood

I have always been around a health and fitness environment and have spent the last several years in the equine industry.
Being around horses you really get to see how injuries can occur and destroy careers. It made me realise how good rehabilitation and care can aid an efficient and speedy recovery which is of high priority. This is where I really began to gain interest in how we can naturally heal our bodies and got into massage.

I have a BSc (hons) in Psychology and sports science and I am a fully insured and qualified VTCT Level 4 Sports Massage Therapist. I also have qualifications in Swedish, Pregnancy and Indian Head Massage.

I focus on tailoring my technique to meet the needs of each client by ensuring the right treatment is given. As a massage therapist I want you to be able to understand how your muscles relate to your problem and self care.

Why get a massage?

  • Maintenance
  • Injury recovery
  • Increase recovery time
  • Reduce muscle tension and discomfort
  • Increase range of movement and posture mobility
  • Help reduce oedema
  • Treats muscles and postural imbalances
  • Relieve tight muscles
  • Delays onset of muscle soreness (Doms)
  • Decrease stress and vocational related tension

What others are saying!

‘Had the BEST massage ever, all my problem areas were taken care of with the right pressure. I was asked how I felt throughout my massage, which made me comfortable and confident to voice my mind. Recommendation 11/10.’
